Has time flown by???

Well it's been a while since I've been on here, all the allure of Facebook has kept me busy in the "blogging" world. My babies are getting bigger, can't believe that my big boy has turned 2 and we're counting down the days until Ellie is 4. I remember 5 years ago attending my 10 year high school reunion, looking around wondering if I would ever get married and have kids. It was quite a shock to me at the reunion to see that the majority were still single.

Just 2 months later my friends Lorraine and Jennifer wanted to set me up on a blind date. Prior to this I had awkward experiences of being set up on blind dates and had said NO to many attempts. The funniest one I got set up on was by my cousin, some lady she worked with had a single son and he had a Harley and tattoos, ooooh intriguing, until I saw his "tattoos" of freakin Winnie the Pooh and other assorted Disney characters, The Harley wasn't enough to get over the disney tattoos.

Back to Lorraine and Jen, they wanted to set me up with a guy that Lorraine worked with, I did a walk-by his desk to see if he was worth it, and he looked alright. They gave him my number and he didn't call. After a week had gone by, Lorraine asked if I would want to go out with her brother, I didn't even know she had one. I said okay and the rest is all up/down hill from there? (I know that uphill is supposed to be a good thing, but that just seems like a lot of hard work, and this has seemed more like easy going like riding downhill, so I say downhill in a good way.)

Here I am 5 years later, a great husband, two beautiful kids, a house and a dog. My kind of life! (Just need to save up for that Harley!)

Finally Postal!

Well I'm official, graduated my class early and worked my first day last night as a Postal employee! Woohoo, now I just need 90 days to disappear so I can listen to my Ipod. I have lots of catching up to do on my library list.

A new chapter...

After two years of listening to people complain about their flights being delayed due to weather and it is all my fault, I've decided to leave JetBlue and move on. So today is my first day working at the United States Postal Service, lucky me I get to key images of mail all night, no one whining or complaining, just me and my monitor bonding. Eventually I get to listen to my ipod and I'll be able to listen to audiobooks and get smarter than I already am. I love to read, it's something that I've "given up" to be a mom. I've gone to the local library and checked out books on CD and am now downloading them onto my ipod. It's so nice to listen to books while the kids are playing or napping or watching Disney. I can even do dishes and laundry while listening. Pathetic I know, but I still like it.
